College Station, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill was suspended two games on Saturday for violating team rules.
True freshman Kyle Allen started Saturday's game against Louisiana-Monroe.
Hill and Allen battled for the starting quarterback's position before the season and the sophomore earned the nod.
In eight games this season, Hill has completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 2,649 yards with 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Allen appeared in four games for the Aggies prior to Saturday, connecting on 23-of-38 throws for 264 yards with three scores and a pair of interceptions.
