Cole Lankford went 5 for 5 and drove in two runs and Texas A&M eliminated Texas-San Antonio from the Corvallis regional with a 6-1 victory Saturday.

Aggies starter Parker Ray (2-1) picked up the win with 8 2-3 dominant innings, giving up just one earned run on five hits with eight strikeouts. Brock Hartson (0-2) took the loss for Texas-San Antonio (35-25).

The Aggies (33-28) wasted no time getting to Hartson, scoring two runs on three hits in the first inning. The Roadrunners got on the board when RJ Perucki singled home Riley Good and it was 2-1 after three innings.

Texas A&M added three runs in the fifth, including a two-run double by designated hitter Daniel Megden. Lankford had an RBI single in the sixth.

Perucki went 1 for 4 with an RBI for UTSA.
