Sevilla announced Thursday that the club has signed striker Kevin Gameiro from PSG for a fee of $13.2 million.

"French striker Kevin Gameiro has today become a new Sevilla player after passing a medical and signing his new contract which ties him to the club for the next five seasons," read a statement on Sevilla's official website.

Gameiro joined the Parisians two years ago after scoring over 50 goals in three seasons with Lorient. He found first-team opportunities at the Parc des Princes limited last term after the arrival Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the 26- year-old was pushed further down the pecking order after the French club signed Edinson Cavani last week.
