The New York Jets had a bit of role reversal Sunday, with their offense having one of its best performances in weeks and making up for an uncharacteristically leaky defense.

Geno Smith says Monday that spirits are higher in the locker room after the Jets snapped a three-game skid with a 37-27 win over the Oakland Raiders. He had his best game in weeks, throwing for a touchdown and running for another as the Jets set a season high for points.

Rex Ryan was disappointed in the defense, which allowed an "embarrassing" 63-yard touchdown run to Marcel Reece and gave up 150 yards rushing.

The Jets (6-7) remain in the AFC playoff hunt with a game against the Panthers (9-4) in Carolina on Sunday.
