Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies activated reliever Boone Logan from the 15-day disabled list prior to Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Logan had been sidelined for the past month due to elbow inflammation. Prior to landing on the DL, the veteran lefty had posted a 5.87 earned run average in 21 appearances and allowed four home runs in just 15 1/3 innings.

The offseason acquisition allowed only one run over five innings in six games while on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs, however.

Infielder Ryan Wheeler was optioned to Colorado Springs to make room for Logan on the active roster. The 25-year-old hit .232 with two homers and 13 RBI in 31 games for the Rockies.
