Rams QB Bradford leaves game
St. Louis, MO – St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford left opener against Philadelphia, the third major offensive Rams player to suffer an injury.
Running back Steven Jackson (quadriceps) and wide receiver Danny Amendola (dislocated left elbow) also departed the contest.
With about eight minutes to play, Bradford completed a 31-yard pass to Brandon Gibson. But as the completion was being challenged, he walked into the locker room looking at his right hand. He was getting an X-ray on a finger, according to the Rams' Twitter feed.
Jackson departed in the first quarter. He ran for a 47-yard touchdown, but touched the ball only once more.
Amendola, the Rams' leading receiver last year, suffered his injury early in the fourth quarter on a six-yard reception.
