Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Raiders signed nine-year veteran defensive end Justin Tuck on Thursday.
Tuck, who spent his entire career with the New York Giants, arrives in the East Bay thanks to a two-year deal worth $11 million, according to a source cited by the San Francisco Chronicle.
One of the league's premier pass rushers, Tuck ended last season with 63 tackles and 11 sacks to go with one interception in 16 games.
Since arriving in the NFL from Notre Dame in 2005, Tuck has compiled 453 tackles and 60 1/2 sacks with a pair of picks in 127 contests for Big Blue. He was part of two Super Bowl teams in 2007 and 2011.
