Baton Rouge, LA – LSU announced on Wednesday that former Penn State starting quarterback Rob Bolden has transferred and will join the Tigers for this upcoming season.
Bolden is the latest player to leave the Nittany Lions in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex scandal.
Bolden played in 10 games last season and completed 53-of-135 passes for 685 yards with two touchdowns and seven interceptions.
"He is talented and he will be given every opportunity to compete," LSU coach Les Miles said.
Bolden will likely become the No. 2 quarterback behind starter Zach Mettenberger.
