Alicante, Spain – Former Duke University star Kyle Singler, a round pick of the Detroit Pistons, has agreed to play in Europe for the Spanish club Lucentum Alicante.
The team said the deal includes an opt-out clause that will allow Singler to return to the Pistons once the NBA lockout ends.
Singler led Duke to the NCAA title in the spring of 2010 as a junior and was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player.
