Pelicans' Davis diagnosed with shoulder sprain

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New Orleans Pelicans have listed All-Star forward Anthony Davis as day-to-day with a sprained shoulder he suffered in the team's most recent outing.

Davis exited Wednesday's 108-89 loss at Dallas in the second quarter with the injury and did not return.

The 2012 No. 1 overall pick's status has yet to be determined for the Pelicans' next two contests, back-to-back road tests against Phoenix and the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and Saturday.
