Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson, coming off an injury-plagued season, will miss the rest of training camp after undergoing a procedure on his knee.

Nelson caught 49 passes for 745 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games last year.

The Kansas State product, who is entering his sixth season with the Packers, has caught 217 passes for 3,276 yards and 28 touchdowns in 73 career games.

Coach Mike McCarthy said he was "hopeful" Nelson would be back for Week 1.
