MADISON, Wis. – When No. 25 Wisconsin needs a stop, linebacker Chris Borland is usually there to make the play or rally his teammates.
He's the Badgers' old-school leader on defense. A tough, hard-nosed player who's never far from the ball.
Borland will be Illinois' problem this weekend. The Badgers (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) visit Champaign on Saturday night.
Illini offensive coordinator Bill Cubit says he loves to watch Borland play, but he's going to hate facing him because Borland "plays college football the way it should be played."
Borland is third in the Big Ten in tackles. He's also one forced fumble shy of tying the FBS career record of 14 shared by five players.
