Terrance Hill scored 19 points and Kenneth Faried had his 15th double-double of the season as Morehead State steadily pulled away from Jacksonville State in the second half to win 73-52 on Saturday night.

Faried,who leads the nation in rebounding, had 13 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks for the Eagles (11-6, 4-2 Ohio Valley Conference), who have won five straight for their longest winning streak of the season.

The Eagles now own a 24-game home winning streak, which is tied with Kentucky for third longest in Division I (behind Kansas at 68 and Duke at 28).

The Gamecocks (2-14, 0-5) took an 11-2 lead after hitting three straight 3-pointers, but the Racers put together a 14-0 run to go ahead 28-22.

Jacksonville State closed to 28-27, then went cold as Morehead State scored 12 unanswered points in 6 minutes.

Jeremy Bynum led the Gamecocks with 15 points.
