Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Bills signed veteran punter Brian Moorman on Sunday.
The move comes two days after the club released punter Shawn Powell.
Moorman spent 11-plus seasons with the Bills, who released the Pittsburg State product after Week 3 last year. He wasn't out of work long, finishing the rest of the 2012 season with Dallas, and attended training camp this summer with Pittsburgh.
Moorman, who went to the Pro Bowl in 2005 and 2006, holds franchise records in gross punting average (43.9 yards), punts inside the 20 (243) and total punts (862).
