Mikel Trapp made four free throws in the final 15 seconds to secure Bethune-Cookman's 65-60 victory over Central Connecticut State on Sunday.

Trapp also gave the Wildcats (2-3) the lead for good at 59-58 on a 3-pointer with 1:57 left and finished with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Tony Kynard extended the lead to three with a pair of free throws before Matt Mobley cut it back to one, making 1 of 2 free throws on separate trips to the line.

CCSU (0-5) never trailed from after the opening minute until Trapp's late 3. Bethune-Cookman pulled even at 41-all on Quentin Brewer's layup with 14:02 left but the Blue Devils went back in front.

Clemmye Owens finished with 17 points for B-CU and Brewer added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Mobley led CCSU with 22 points and Faronte Drakeford had 20. Brandon Peel added 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils.
