Michigan's Molk wins Rimington Award

Michigan senior David Molk has been named the winner of the 2011 Dave Rimington Trophy, given to the nation's top collegiate center.

Molk started all 12 games for the 10-2 Wolverines, helping two players -- Denard Robinson and Fitzgerald Toussaint -- amass 1,000 yards on the ground.

"I am truly humbled to be the Rimington Trophy recipient," said Molk. "It's an individual award, but it's a credit to our offensive line, our team and our coaching staff. I'm proud to represent the University of Michigan."

The other finalists were: Dalton Freeman (Clemson), Grant Garner (Oklahoma State), Ben Jones (Georgia), Peter Konz (Wisconsin) and William Vlachos (Alabama).
