Dallas, TX – The Dallas Mavericks signed free agent guard Wayne Ellington on Friday.
Ellington, who will enter his fifth NBA season, averaged 10.4 points in 38 games for Cleveland last season. That was after he was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies, a team he averaged only 5.5 points for during the 2012-13 campaign.
A first-round draft pick of Minnesota, Ellington has career averages of 6.9 points and 2.0 rebounds in 267 games (34 starts).
