Lincecum Ks 10 in Giants' shutout of Marlins

Miami, FL – Tim Lincecum struck out 10 batters through seven 0, in the second test of a three-game series.

Lincecum (11-9) allowed two hits and walked three as the Giants won for just the fourth time in August. They have a record of 4-8 this month.

Jeff Keppinger's homer in the first inning extended San Francisco's major league record of consecutive solo home runs to 21 straight.

Brian Wilson put two runners on base in the ninth, but closed out the game for his 35th save of the year.

Javier Vazquez (7-10) also fanned 10 hitters through seven frames, but allowed three runs thanks to five hits and two wild pitches.

Emilio Bonifacio recorded his 30th infield single of the season in the Marlins' eighth loss in nine games.
