Surrey, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Alexander Levy fired rounds of 66 and 67 on Monday to grab the top spot at the U.S. Open qualifier at Walton Heath.

Levy's total of 11-under-par 133 was one better than Shiv Kapur. Levy had eight birdies and two bogeys in his round of 66, then carded six birdies and a lone bogey in his second-round 67.

Kapur mixed 12 birdies and two bogeys over his back-to-back rounds of 67.

Those two both qualified as did John Parry, Alex Noren, Lucas Bjerregaard, Jason Palmer and Marcel Siem.

Padraig Harrington, Peter Uihlein, Ross Fisher, Robert Karlsson, Nicolas Colsaerts and Mikko Ilonen, who will defend his Irish Open title this week, were among those that failed to qualify.

Alvaro Quiros, Matteo Manassero and Thorbjorn Olesen were among 22 players that either withdrew or were disqualified from the qualifier.
