Lane wins Casa Serena Open

England's Barry Lane posted a under 69 on Sunday to win his third European Senior Tour title at the Casa Serena Open.

Lane finished at 15-under 198 and won by two strokes over Peter Fowler, whose four-under 67 on Sunday wasn't quite enough at Casa Serena Golf.

Lane vaulted into the second-round lead with nine-under 62 on Saturday and this was his third win on the circuit and second this season. His first-place check wasn't quite enough to surpass Fowler for first on the Order of Merit, but Lane still had a spectacular week.

He birdied two of his first three holes, then played even-par the rest of the way for the victory.

Carl Mason (67) and Roger Chapman (70) shared third at minus-11, followed by Sam Torrance (66) and Marc Farry (68), who tied for fifth place at nine-under 204.
