Cleveland, OH – The Cleveland Indians placed reliever Rafael Perez on the 15-day disabled list Friday with a strained left latissimus and recalled fellow left-hander Nick Hagadone from Triple-A Columbus.
Perez suffered the injury during's Wednesday game against Kansas City. In eight games this season, he has compiled a 3.52 earned run average.
Hagadone joins the Indians for the second time this year. He allowed one run in three appearances from April 17-22.
