Bronx, NY – The Cleveland Indians claimed infielder/outfielder Vinny Rottino off outright waivers from the New York Mets on Wednesday.
Rottino hit .182 with two homers and five RBI in 18 games for the Mets this season.
The Indians also designated pitcher Chris Schwinden for assignment.
