Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Heat signed forward Henry Walker for the remainder of the season on Friday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Walker has appeared in 10 games with the Heat this season, starting five times, and is averaging 8.5 points and 3.4 rebounds. Miami is 6-4 over that span.

Walker was originally signed to a 10-day contract on Feb. 21 and then re- signed to a second 10-day contract on March 3.

In 17 games for the Heat's NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Walker averaged 15.1 points and 3.9 rebounds.

He was originally drafted in the second round (47th overall) by the Washington Wizards in 2008 and has now appeared in 167 career NBA games, averaging 5.9 points and 2.1 rebounds.
