Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings were named NBA Players of the Week for games played Oct. 30 through Nov. 4.

Harden, who was acquired by Houston from Oklahoma City days before the start of the regular season, led the Rockets to a 2-1 mark by pacing the league in scoring with 35.3 points per game. Harden had 37 points, 12 assists, six rebounds and four steals in his Houston debut on Oct. 31, becoming just the fourth player in the last 25 years to post at least 37 points, 12 assists, six rebounds, four steals and one block in a single game.

Jennings led the league in assists (13.0) and the Eastern Conference in steals (4.0) per game as the Milwaukee posted its first 2-0 start to a season since the 2005-06 campaign. He posted a double-double in two straight games for the second time in his career and knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer against the Cavaliers on Nov. 3.

Other nominees for the conference honors were New York's Carmelo Anthony, Miami's Chris Bosh, Orlando's Glen Davis, Golden State's Carl Landry, Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul, San Antonio's Tony Parker, Cleveland's Anderson Varejao and Charlotte's Kemba Walker.
