Keifer Sykes scored 22 points and finished with six assists as Green Bay beat Division II Illinois-Springfield 88-57 on Saturday afternoon.

Sykes became the tenth Phoenix player to join the 1,500-point club, now with 1,504 points. Greg Mays had 14 points, and Jordan Fouse added 10 for Green Bay. Defensively, the Phoenix combined for 12 blocks and five steals.

After trailing 15-2, the Prairie Stars went on a 16-3 run to tie the score at 18 with 9:24 left in the first half. Green Bay quickly bounced back, entering the break on a 28-7 run to go ahead for good.

Mark Weems Jr. led Illinois-Springfield with 15 points and six rebounds, and Vincent Walker chipped in 13. The Prairie Stars shot 21 of 64 from the field for just 32.8 percent, and finished with 14 turnovers.
