Milwaukee Bucks swingman Drew Gooden and Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum have been named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played through Sunday, March 18.

Gooden fueled the Bucks' push to a postseason berth by posting averages of 18.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 8.0 assists to help the Bucks go 3-0 last week. Milwaukee now trails the Knicks by one-half game for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Bynum led the entire Western Conference in rebounding at 14.8 per contest and was second in scoring at 27.5 points per game, while shooting at an impressive 66.5 percent clip from the floor as LA went 3-1.

Other nominees included Atlanta teammates Joe Johnson and Josh Smith, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade, San Antonio's Tony Parker, Phoenix's Jared Dudley and Russell Westbrook from Oklahoma City.
