The New York Giants signed defensive tackle Shaun Rogers on Thursday.

Rogers, 33, played 16 games for the New Orleans Saints last season and made 22 tackles.

The 11-year veteran has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and joins a stacked Giants line that already includes previous selections Osi Umenyiora, Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul.

Rogers has 37.5 career sacks -- just four in the last three seasons -- and 504 tackles for the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns and Saints.

He spent his first seven NFL seasons in a Lions uniform, then three with the Browns before signing on with the Saints in March 2011.
