Luke Donald still feels the same pressure to win a major even without the No. 1 ranking.

Donald was held the top spot for most of the majors in 2011 and 2012 and failed to come away with a win in any of the big four.

Heading into the U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club, Donald says the number doesn't matter. Only winning does.

Donald says he has fewer media commitments and other responsibilities outside of golf because he's no longer No. 1. Ranked sixth, Donald says the pressure to win his first major hasn't gone away.

Donald shot some practice rounds at Merion last week. He came in late Monday night and skipped the day of rain that soaked the course.
