Greg Gantt scored 17 points and Florida Atlantic held off Manhattan 57-50 on Tuesday night for the Owls’ fourth straight win.

Florida Atlantic (12-6), which has won nine of its last 11 games, led 28-26 at halftime and built a 47-33 lead with 12:41 to go.

The Owls then scored only six points over the next 11 minutes as the Jaspers (2-14) got to 53-49 with 2:18 left

After Gantt scored on a fastbreak tip-in to give Florida Atlantic a 55-49 lead with 1:37 to go, Demetrius Jemison hit 1 of 2 free throws to pull Manhattan within five with 1:24 remaining.

Florida Atlantic then hit 2 of 4 free throws to send the Jaspers to their 14th straight loss.

Jordan McCoy added 10 points for the Owls, who shot 24 of 56 from the field (42.9 percent), but hit 4 of 20 3-pointers (20 percent).

Jemison scored 11 points and had 11 rebounds to lead Manhattan.
