Irving, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms on a two-year deal with veteran running back Darren McFadden.
Dallas announced the signing, which was reported by several media outlets including the Fort Worth-Star Telegram, after McFadden passed a physical on Friday.
The news came one day after the Cowboys lost NFL rushing champion DeMarco Murray, who signed with NFC East-rival Philadelphia
In seven years with the Oakland Raiders, McFadden played in just 83 of a possible 112 regular-season games, rushing for 4,247 yards and 25 touchdowns.
In 16 games last season, he ran for 534 yards and two scores. It marked the first time in his career he played in every regular-season game.
His best season came in 2010, when McFadden played in 13 games and ran for a career-best 1,157 yards with seven TDs.
