Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic will not play in Thursday's Game 3 of the team's Eastern Conference quarterfinals series with Milwaukee due to a left knee injury he sustained on Monday.

Mirotic exited Chicago's 91-82 Game 2 win over the Bucks after bruising his knee and straining his quadriceps when battling Milwaukee center Zaza Pachulia for a loose ball in the fourth quarter.

Both players were hit with technical fouls on the play, with Pachulia receiving an automatic ejection for his second technical of the game.

Mirotic had eight points and four rebounds in Game 2 and is averaging 6.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for the series, which Chicago leads 2-0.

The 24-year-old NBA rookie played in all 82 games during the regular season, posting averages of 10.2 points and 4.9 rebounds.
