Denver Broncos running backs Willis McGahee and Knowshon Moreno suffered injuries during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

McGahee, the team's leading rusher this season, sustained a hamstring injury during the Broncos' first drive. He was stopped near the line on a run up the middle, fell to the ground, and left the game.

His return is questionable, according to the team's twitter account, and walked into the locker room early in the second quarter.

Moreno suffered his injury on Denver's next possession. He broke out for a 22- yard run up the right sideline, but appeared to suffer his knee injury when he was tackled.

Moreno grabbed his knee in pain after the play, and his return is doubtful.
