Bears place Brian de la Puente on IR

Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears have placed guard/center Brian de la Puente on injured reserve because of an ankle injury.

The 29-year-old de la Puente appeared in eight contests with six starts (four at center and two at left guard) this season, his first with the Bears.

The Bears also elevated defensive tackle Brandon Dunn to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, signing him to a two-year contract.
