Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Jose Bautista's first-inning homer stood up, as Drew Hutchison and Aaron Sanchez combined on a one-hit shutout to lift the Toronto Blue Jays to a 2-0 victory over the New York Yankees on Saturday at Rogers Centre.

Hutchison (9-11) surrendered only a fourth-inning double to Mark Teixeira, walked two and hit a pair of batters. He also struck out nine before Sanchez retired all six men he faced to notch his first big league save.

The Jays bounced back from Friday's 6-3 loss in the series opener and won for only the second time in their last six games.

Michael Pineda (3-3) pitched six solid innings for New York in the hard-luck loss. He allowed seven hits and both runs, and struck out three without issuing a walk.
