Is it done yet? That’s the oft-heard Thanksgiving question at homes across America before the bird is ready. And it had likely been the White House’s interrogatory leading up to its self-imposed Nov. 30 deadline to fix its beleaguered health care website.

The Pres must be confident it’s all systems go; his staff is tweeting it’s time to jump onto healthcare.gov and buy.

Jeff Zients, the enrollment site’s Mr. Fix-It, says that there’s a "night and day" difference between the launch on Oct. 1 and today’s site, and that “in the zone of 80%” can use it.

Some, like comedian Seth MacFarlane, just ain’t buying it.

Even former WH advisor David Plouffe believes it’s going to be awhile until “mission accomplished.”

Those detractors who never wanted Obamacare in the first place took to the Twitterverse to continue the drumbeat for repeal.

The only thing worse for the WH than a broken Obamacare site? A perfectly functioning Obamacare site.

And even liberal Washington Post columnist Ezra Klein couldn’t help himself by taking a swipe at the Obama administration.

For those who are trying to get coverage, the deadline to enroll is Dec. 23, for coverage beginning Jan. 1.

If you’re in the public eye – especially politics – be careful what you tweet. Josh Romney, son of the GOP's 2012 nominee, is under fire for tweeting a picture of himself smiling in front of an auto wreck to his 17,000 plus followers.

Many tweeters saw it as a “humblebrag” that would have been better left unsaid. One person responded to Romney by saying: “and then you took and posted a smiley tourist-type photo of it? Bit odd.” Others were less kind:

This post made it into Romney’s feed with items about hiking with Ann and Mitt, his brother’s twins, and mom’s TV appearances.

Josh has been seen as the one who would most likely follow his father’s footsteps into politics.

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time. The RNC tweeted out a picture of Rosa Parks with this quotation: “You must never be fearful when what you are doing is right.”

Except the tweet proclaimed racism is dead, which prompted a correction three hours later.

As one tweeter wrote: Too late, GOP. The hashtag #RacismEndedWhen quickly caught on.  h/t Mediaite

A battle has been raging between the WH Photographers Association and the Obama administration over which group should be taking news photos.

Photogs say there are too many events that are not recorded by photojournalists, but are taken by in-house photographer Pete Souza. National Journal’s Ron Fournier agrees and tweets out Sunday’s NYT story:

This is a classic press access issue that’s as old as, well, the beginning of "drawing with light." Many outlets, including USA Today which issued a memo, are refusing to publish handout WH photos, saying there are exceptions involving “legitimate national security restrictions” and “very high news value.”  Good for them.
