Iowa: Voters to Choose Republican Challenger to Gov. Chet Culver

Republican Gubernatorial Primary -- Terry Branstad vs. Bob Vander Plaats vs. Rod Roberts

Iowa has a three-way Republican primary for the right to oppose Democrat Chet Culver,
considered one of the nation's most vulnerable governors.

Terry Branstad, a former governor, has been leading in the polls against businessman Bob Vander Plaats; State Rep. Rod Roberts has been trailing both of them.

Branstad, first elected governor of the state in 1982, has campaigned on pledges to create jobs and cut government spending.
