State Department officials said as many as 300 of Hillary Clinton's private emails will be classified in a batch of documents set for release Friday.

John Kirby, State Department spokesman, said Friday between 200-300 emails will be marked classified among the roughly 7,000 new documents published online.

Kirby stressed that none were marked classified when written.

The Clinton campaign has repeatedly maintained that no laws were broken because none of the emails bore classification markings.
