The CFDA Fashion Awards, which according to Vogue, “aim to recognize extraordinary design excellence across the industry,” is a celebration of the most stylish trendsetters around. And for this year’s festivities, which took place on Monday, June 1st in New York City, the stars didn’t fail to shine on the red carpet.
From old Hollywood glamour to downright daring dresses, the top models, actresses, and entertainers all made it their goal to have all eyes on them with unforgettable couture.
And even one former Victoria’s Secret Angel (who happens to be Taylor Swift’s bff), went extremely low-cut with her head-turning ensemble.

These Hollywood starlets may be individually gorgeous, but one clearly shined at this red carpet affair.
WATCH: How to Get Emma Stone's Signature Bright Lips
Actresses Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams pulled off two completely different looks for the premiere of their new film, “Aloha,” in Los Angeles last night, yet it was McAdams who easily stole the show with her smoldering ensemble.
JustJared.com is reporting that the 36-year-old Canadian beauty wore a mesh, mermaid-esque Self Portrait dress, which cleverly reveals a super daring, yet stylish bustier. The outfit also features a tulip skirt to flaunt her lean legs, as well as an oversized bow to complete the look. For an edgy flair, McAdams wore fuchsia lipstick and towering Christian Louboutin shoes.

The celebrity news site is also reporting that Stone, 26, kept her couture more demure, wearing a 1920s flapper-inspired Emilio Pucci gown adorned with pearls. Stone also wore a matching white blazer draped over her bare shoulders, a popular accessory among celebs and street style icons. Along with a more natural pink shade for her pout, Stone completed the look with simple Vita Fede jewels and matching Christian Louboutin pumps.

The 68th annual Cannes Film Festival may have been celebrating the finest in film, but it was a certain hotel heiress who commanded everyone's attention in two blockbuster gowns.

Why was she there? Well, when Paris Hilton isn’t selling perfume to the masses (see here), the statuesque blonde makes red carpet appearances for fans and photographers. And, as with nearly everyone who’s anyone attending the annual festival, the popular socialite clearly had to be seen in mulitple ensembles.
As reported by The Huffington Post, the 34-year-old was first spotted Monday at Cannes in southern France wearing a golden (and dangerously sheer) backless gown designed by Yousef Al-Jasmi. Hilton also opted for towering nude heels and plenty of sparkling jewels in all the right places. And in case you must know, Hilton was attending the premiere of the animated film “Inside Out.”
According to the news site, Hilton also broke the event’s “no selfie rule” when she posed for a red carpet photo taken by actor Sun Zu Yang.
Just when we thought Hilton’s mission was accomplished, she was spotted again on Tuesday at a photocall for the De Grisogono Party during the festival in Antibes. There, Hilton wore a curve-hugging (and, again, nearly transparent) backless dress, proudly flaunting plenty of skin.

But it wasn’t all play for the star. Huffington Post also reports that Hilton was there to debut her new single, “High Off My Love.”

The televised ceremony, which took place on Sunday, May 17th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, was the place to be for those looking to check out the hottest moments in music, including Taylor Swift’s newest video, British boy band One Direction appearing as a foursome, and Jennifer Lopez rocking barely-there couture.
And speaking of dangerously revealing ensembles, a slew of other celebs took the opportunity to show of loads of leg, whittled waists and lots of cleavage on the red carpet.

If there’s one Hollywood star that’s famous for her irresistible curves, it’s this fiery red head.
PHOTOS: Christina Hendricks' Sexiest Looks
“Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks, who recently became the celebrity ambassador for Clairol’s Nice ‘n Easy line, is adored by both men and women for her sinfully seductive shape, which easily commands any red carpet event. Just like her character Joan Harris from the '60s- (and now '70s-) themed series, the buxom Tennessee-born beauty opts for body-hugging dresses, tight pencil skirts and tailored pieces nipped at the waist.
And even the 40-year-old herself admits that anyone can copy her style with a few simple tricks.
“Tailoring is of the utmost importance,” she tells Glamour Magazine. “You can shop at Target or Yves Saint Laurent, and it will look wonderful if it fits you well."

Another way to recreate this look without splurging? Stock up on vintage pieces.
“I’ve been wearing it (vintage) since I was 11 or 12 years old,” she adds. “I love the attention to detail, the tailoring, and all the little special touches that you don’t find these days. I do tend to stay away from vintage from the '60s, because I don’t want to look like I’m walking around in my ‘Mad Men’ costume!”
