The Duchess of Cambridge may have been attending a performance on Thursday, but she proved to be the real star of the night.
PHOTOS: Kate Middleton Debuts Tiny Baby Bump
Flaunting a barely-there baby bump, Kate Middleton absolutely glowed at the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium, where she and husband Prince William met with musical legends old and new. Among those the couple greeted was musical theater composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, while 32-year-old Kate got some face time with British heartthrob Harry Styles of the boy band One Direction.
“I said congratulations on the bump,” said Styles, as reported by CBS News. “She didn’t look bumpy.”
As for Middleton’s ensemble? Taking a brief break from her go-to designer Jenny Packham, she instead opted for a black lace Diane Von Furstenberg gown. The dress also featured floral embroidery, which was all the more visible considering her famous mane was up in chic chignon.

Fortunately for the rest of us, fashion experts believe any woman can look as good as Kate, just by channeling her royal style.
“Kate Middleton is the epitome of how to wear lace,” says Melissa Liebling-Goldberg, fashion and beauty director for POPSUGAR, on how to wear lace. “It’s an utterly feminine fabric, but the slim silhouettes she picks keep it looking modern, along with her sleek accessories. This is not a fabric to go over-the-top with jewelry.”

One particular Victoria’s Secret Angel is taking flight in the fashion world — and it’s not just because she can really strut her stuff in lingerie (although, let’s face it, she’s pretty amazing at doing that, too).

Brazilian bombshell Alessandra Ambrósio, who will be rocking the blinged-out Dream Angels Fantasy Bra (worth $2 million!) at this year's Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on December 9, is dead-set on ending 2014 year with a bang. In addition to ruling the runway for the popular televised event, the 33-year-old mother of two will also be judging a new online series “Model Turned Superstar,” where 120 aspiring models will compete for a $1 million cash prize and a Hollywood acting contract. If that’s not enough, Ambrósio is also expanding her ále by Alessandra line with a sizzling swimwear collection.
Is there anything this brunette beauty can’t do? FOX News Magazine chatted with Ambrósio about “Model Turned Superstar,” expanding her designing career, and the one beauty trick that makes her look extra heavenly. And below that, be sure to check out some of Ambrósio’s sultriest looks from over the years below:
FNM: Why was it important for you to become involved with ‘Model Turned Superstar?’
AA: I always remembered all those little secrets that other models gave me when I was just starting out. Therefore, I wanted to pass on the love and share my knowledge with up-and-coming models, helping them out.

FNM: In your opinion, how is ‘Model Turned Superstar’ different from any other reality TV show that’s out there?
AA: The contestants come from all over the world, and the winning package is not only giving them a jumping board in the modeling industry, but also one in the film industry.
FNM: After watching ‘Model Turned Superstar,’ it's pretty clear you're a seasoned world traveler. Which is your favorite beach in the world?
AA: I always love going back to my hometown in Brazil since my family is there. The beaches there also hold so many great memories.
FNM: You’ve mentioned in a previous interview that you didn’t exercise until about age 21 when you joined Victoria’s Secret. Nowadays, which is your favorite workout routine?
AA: As a mom, most of my exercise comes from chasing after my children (laughs). But joking aside, I really enjoy Pilates, Ballet Beautiful, and Barry’s Bootcamp.

FNM: How do you prepare physically and mentally to look and feel amazing before a runway show?
AA: I like to meditate before any show and release any excess stress. I train all year long, so I don’t usually do any special physical preparations before fashion shows.
FNM: What's your runway secret to looking your best in lingerie?
AA: It’s all about being confident.
FNM: And what about any beauty tricks we should know?
AA: My number one beauty rule is to stay hydrated. Hydrated skin always glows.

FNM: What was your most shocking Victoria’s Secret modeling moment?
AA: I can’t recall any shocking moments, but probably the most exciting moment was when I was told that I would be wearing the (coveted) Fantasy Bra a couple years ago.
FNM: What are three things few people know about you?
AA: I am an open book, so I’m not sure if there is anything that people don’t know about me (laughs). I love to eat fries; my mantra is ‘Forever on Vacation’; and I love to relax at home with my family and friends.
FNM: What’s next for you?
AA: I am launching my ále by Alessandra swimwear brand this month. The collection is inspired by my Brazil-bohemia-meets-Malibu-chic lifestyle. With 75 different styles in one-piece and two-piece separates, there is something for everyone.
When it comes to a certain glitzy gala, the stars wanted to shine in their most head-turning couture.
PHOTOS: Celebs Love Their Daring Dresses
Miley Cyrus and Rihanna were among the celebs making people stare at the amfAR Gala Auction held on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old "Hanna-Montana"-star-turned-"Bangerz"-chart-topper nearly broke necks with her S&M-inspired gown, featuring a sheer top and strapped bodice. (Can you say "yowza"?)
Meanwhile, 26-year-old “Diamonds” singer Rihanna sparkled in a white hot gown from the Tom Ford spring 2015 collection, which highlighed a thigh-high slit and a sheer bra top with purple embellishments that accentuated her assets. (Think high fashion pasties.)

But it all wasn’t just a fashion affair. The celebs were there to raise money, and PEOPLE magazine reports that Cyrus won a bidding war against Ford himself — the night’s honoree. The prize? A print of a nude woman by photographer McGinley, which sold for $300,000.
According to amfAR, the star-studded event raised over $3 million for AIDS research — and we're sure everybody's outfits gave amfAR a nice boost of publicity, too.
Speaking of which, check out the many other celebs that opted for daring couture below:
Forget the couture. When it comes to spring/summer 2015’s hottest looks, it’s all about what you’ll be wearing underneath your clothes.
PHOTOS: Lingerie Fashion Week's Hottest Looks
Lingerie Fashion Week, which exposes the best intimate apparel from over 20 designers worldwide, took over New York City in late October, revealing what was to come next year.
From stockings to red hot brasseries, Lingerie Fashion Week was a spectacle of emerging trends to flatter all figures. And let’s be real, who doesn’t like admiring heart-stopping lingerie?
“I think the question is, why hasn’t lingerie had its own Fashion Week sooner?” previously wrote intimates expert Cora Harrington, founder and chief editor of The Lingerie Addict. “Given the vast categories intimate apparel covers — lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear, shape wear, hosiery and legwear, men’s underwear, lingerie accessories and more — I thought surely this market is not as niche as many people think, and qualifies for its own spotlight in the Fashion Week sphere.”
