Chavez to fly to Cuba for radiation therapy for cancer, he says

CARACAS, Venezuela – Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says he's flying to Cuba to begin radiation therapy Sunday for his cancer.

The Venezuelan leader has been recovering after undergoing surgery in Cuba on Feb. 26 to have a tumor removed from the same spot in his pelvic region where another tumor was extracted eight months earlier.

Chavez says he plans to leave for Cuba on Saturday night.
