An attorney for a New York heart doctor accused of torching his former medical partner's office, then hiring someone who turned out to be an undercover officer to have the rival hurt or killed says his client plans to return to work.

Attorney Randy Zelin (ZEHL'-ihn) said Friday that Dr. Anthony Moschetto (muh-SHEH'-toh) is eager to go back to work as soon as prosecutors return his patient files. Authorities seized them Tuesday at his home on Long Island's Gold Coast.

Zelin says Moschetto's patients stand by him.

Moschetto pleaded not guilty Wednesday to conspiracy and other charges.

Prosecutors allege he used drugs, guns and blank prescriptions as currency while trying to have the other doctor harmed amid a business dispute.

Three others are charged in the case.
