Wild's Staubitz suspended indefinitely pending hearing

New York, NY – Minnesota Wild forward Brad Staubitz has been suspended indefinitely by the NHL pending a hearing.

The penalty has been implemented following a game misconduct and major penalty Staubitz received for checking from behind 4:24 into the third period of Friday's preseason game against Columbus.

The incident will be reviewed by the NHL's Department of Player Safety before a final penalty is assessed.
