Stuttgart announced Tuesday that it has signed Norwegian striker Mohammed Abdellaoue from Bundesliga rivals Hannover.

The 27-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year contract after passing a medical with his new club.

"I'm really pleased that we have been able to attract Moa to us," said Fredi Bobic, Stuttgart's director of sport. "He is a player with international experience and extraordinary ability. We are now more flexible in our attack with him."

Abdellaoue joined Hannover from Valerenga in 2010 and went on to score 29 goals in 80 Bundesliga games. He joins Stuttgart for an undisclosed fee.
