Servia gets another ride with Panther Racing with Briscoe still recovering from wrist injury
INDIANAPOLIS – Oriol Servia will be back with Panther Racing at Mid-Ohio as Ryan Briscoe remains sidelined with a broken wrist.
Briscoe was injured in the first of two races at Toronto. He and Servia have been splitting time in the car since JR Hildebrand was released from the No. 4 after the Indianapolis 500.
Servia's last start with Panther was at Iowa Speedway, where he finished seventh. He'll rejoin Panther Racing on Wednesday for a full-day test at Mid-Ohio in preparation for Sunday's race.
Servia has eight career starts at Mid-Ohio, with six top-10 finishes. He was a career-best fifth in 2008 while driving for KV Racing Technology.
