Santiago, Tigers agree to 2-year deal

Detroit, MI – The Detroit Tigers agreed to terms on a two- year contract with infielder Ramon Santiago on Wednesday.

Santiago batted .260 with 11 doubles, five home runs and 30 RBI in 101 games for the Tigers last season.

For his career, the 32-year-old has a .249 average with 25 home runs and 166 RBI in 672 games with the Tigers and Seattle Mariners.
