Royals sign 10 players to one-year deals

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Kansas City Royals signed pitchers Francisley Bueno, Chris Dwyer, Donnie Joseph, John Lamb, Michael Mariot and Yordano Ventura, infielders Pedro Ciriaco and Christian Colon and outfielders Lorenzo Cain and Jarrod Dyson to one-year contracts on Thursday.

Bueno did not allow a run in seven relief appearances last season with the Royals, earning a win over Boston on Aug. 9.

Cain hit .251 with 21 doubles, four homers and 46 RBI in 115 games last season with the Royals.

Dyson had a .258 average with two homers, 17 RBI and 34 stolen bases in 87 contests last year with Kansas City.
