Justin Robinson scored 19 points and Danny Stewart added 13 and 11 rebounds to lead Rider to a 61-59 win over Iona on Thursday night.

The Broncs (15-7, 7-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) trailed 32-25 less than two minutes into the second half, but a 7-0 run spurt tied it at 32 with 16:47 left to play as the team's traded leads nine times the rest of the way.

A layup by Mike Glover gave the Gaels (13-8, 7-3) their final lead of the game, 55-54, with 3:12 remaining.

Novar Gadson gave Rider a 56-55 lead on a layup with 1:55 to go. Robinson, who scored 18 points in the second half, hit a jumper with 16 seconds on the clock to push the lead to 59-55.

Kyle Smyth scored 17, Jermel Jenkins added 15 and Scott Machado 12 for Iona, which has lost two straight after a five-game winning streak.

Gadson finished with 15 points and Mike Ringgold added 10 for Rider.
