Justin Robinson scored all but two of his 23 points in the second half as Rider defeated Manhattan 88-78 Monday night, the Jaspers' 11th straight loss.

The Broncs (10-5, 2-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) are responsible for two Manhattan losses, also having beaten the Jaspers (2-11, 0-3) by 29 on the road on Dec. 2. The Jaspers gave Rider a fight this time, but were undone by 20 turnovers.

Rider led 25-10, appearing primed for a repeat of the first meeting, 10 minutes into the game. But Manhattan charged back to tie on a 19-4 run led by six of Michael Alvarado's nine points and five of Demetrius Jemison's 15. Rider led 32-29 at halftime.

Danny Stewart added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

George Beamon's 24 points and Kidani Brutus' 19 led Manhattan. The Jaspers led 57-55 with 9:30 left on a Jemison layup. But the Broncs pulled away with an 11-2 run.
