Eagles coach Andy Reid says quarterback Kevin Kolb and linebacker Stewart Bradley are making progress, though neither has passed the next phase of their concussion testing.

Reid wouldn't rule either player out for Philadelphia's game against Detroit on Sunday, but it would seem unlikely they could play.

The NFL has strict return-to-play guidelines for players who show concussion symptoms. Neither player will practice Wednesday and they won't even be allowed to attend meetings until they pass the next test.

Both players briefly returned after getting hurt in Sunday's 27-20 loss to Green Bay.

Reid says the team is following the league's protocol.
