Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills re-signed running back Tashard Choice on Saturday.
The Bills claimed Choice off waivers from Washington last November to add depth to the position after leading rusher Fred Jackson suffered a broken leg that ended his season.
Choice amassed 70 yards on 23 carries with one touchdown and caught seven passes for 51 yards in six games with Buffalo.
Selected by Dallas in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Georgia Tech product has totaled 1,216 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 61 career games with the Cowboys, Redskins and Bills. He also has recorded 550 yards on 72 receptions.
